Contemporary Information Technologies

The contemporary development of security services on the Internet shows that the information theoretical approach, covered by this study program, is precisely in the focus of the latest directions of the development that can already provide protection systems, controlled and measurable forces. In that manner, the contemporary and future development of the Internet is fully secured as the general communication infrastructure that is vital for the development of digital economics and the new global civilization. Along with the general, theoretical approach to undestanding information processes, that are met in everyday communication systems, students gain practical experience that enables them to solve problems imposed by constaltly growing demands.

Master studies in Contemporary Inforomation Technology (IT) conists of one-year programme credited with 60 ECTS points ( 30 ECTS per semester) that has been designed within four fields: Information Security, Digital Forensics, Contemporary Information Systems and Modern Internet Technologies.

I semester
II semester
  • The candidate takes six exams. The first project assignment integrates four subjects from the first semester, while the second integrates two subjects from the second semester.
  • During the course of lecture, the candidate defines the theme for his or her master work. Project objectives from the first and second semesters can be integrated into the master's thesis.
