The coordinator of activities at the Faculty of Philology of the University Sinergija, the study program Anglistika, is the result of our careful listening to the needs of the modern market and the aspiration to fully respond to these needs. This study program enables the acquisition of practical and theoretical knowledge through the most modern concepts and the use of modern teaching tools.
The range for which this basic undergraduate language program qualifies is based on competencies related to English language and literature, but not only that - it is important to note that equal attention is paid to areas such as translation, methodological-pedagogical fields, as well as culture and communication in various spheres.
An innovative, interactive, and applicable teaching concept provides students not only with the opportunity for further development in many linguistic, literary, translational, educational, or related directions, but also the acquisition of multiple applicable skills. This immediately after graduation makes them ready for employment within a wide range of activities, ranging from language teaching, various forms of translation, court interpretation, to work within areas where there is a need for intercultural communication; in fact, there is almost no segment, whether private or public sector, where the abilities acquired in this study program cannot find their practical application.
In this way, upon completion of the study program Anglistika, students become highly competitive in the job market, both nationally and regionally, as well as internationally, as their skills are not directed towards individual or a small number of areas related to the English language.
The content, structure, and implementation of the study program Anglistika will prepare students for independent work in the aforementioned, as well as other activities, prepare them for scientific research work, critical and creative thinking, interpretation, and provide them with a solid foundation for further education and improvement.

After graduating from this study program, graduates can be employed in the following positions:
- Teacher/professor of English language in primary/secondary schools
- English language teacher in kindergartens, private language schools
- English language teacher within language institutes
- Literary translator
- Professional translator (economics, law, medicine, archaeology, psychology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.)
- Court interpreter for English language
- Simultaneous interpreter
- Consecutive interpreter
- Correspondent (for news agencies)
- Foreign language editor
- Worker in the field of PR, HR communication, media in a broader sense, etc.

All textbooks are included in the tuition fee.
Upon successful completion of the studies, students acquire the academic title Graduate Professor of English Language and Literature - 240 ECTS.
